Seyedeh Tina Sadri is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, award-winning author, public speaker and blogger.


She has her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Irvine where she majored in psychology and minored in biology. She completed her Masters degree from Alliant International University with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. 
Her training includes working in a non-profit agency that gave her vast experience in dealing with divorce, co-parenting and court-ordered reunification cases. She then went on to work at a private practice under the supervision of Bernard Schwartz treating a variety of cases with

individual, couples and families furthering her training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Soon after completing her 3,000 clinical training hours and passing the Californa board examinations, she started her own private practice called “Newport Mental Wellness” in which she continued to treat patients with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, couple’s therapy (divorce, premarital, co-parenting, relationship improvement) adolescent- related issues and postpartum issues. 

As a Therapist, Tina practices as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. CBT focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems. CBT has been proven to be highly affective in both depression and anxiety. When it comes to treating her patients, Tina approaches each case holistically. In the first session she throughly looks at the individual's current mental, physical, socioeconomic, nutrition, exercise, and social well-being. She believes that all the different areas of our life affect one another and therefore she formulates a treatment plan that will sufficiently allow a well balanced life. 

Recently, Tina and her husband, Dr. Sadri joined ventures to share a office space, staff and responsibilities, located in Newport Beach, Ca. Tina is really enjoying the added responsibilities of managing a corporation and all the excitement that comes with it. 

Tina has a passion for sharing her knowledge and training in the field of psychology with others through writing, public speaking and blogging. She is the author of the book #Obsession; freeing yourself of social media disorder which is available on Amazon. She often enjoys speaking arrangements in colleges, universities and other public forumes. She also has a blog where shares her insight on different topics relating to mental health, living a balanced life, family therapy and overall happiness. 

Tina and Dr. Sadri are the proud parents of two beautiful girls, Sofia {8} and Siena {3}. Tina enjoys traveling with her family in her spare time. She is a fitness enthusiast and exercises daily.
